Chrysanthemums, or "mums" as the enthusiasts call them, are a genus of flowering plants that are native to East Asia and Northeast Europe. They have been cultivated for centuries, resulting in hundreds of beautiful and diverse varieties.

At Bay Area Chrysanthemum Society, we're all about building a community of local plant lovers dedicated to preserving these beloved flowers. Check out our annual public events to help promote the appreciation of chrysanthemums!
